Parent Testimonials
I have observed the love of God through your ministry of Wesley Station in several ways. To begin with, the care that is shown when picking up and dropping off the children, you walk to meet us and always have a warm greetings. If something extraordinary happens you tell us that day. You also provide a more in-depth and we'll rounded understanding of God to my child which has been a challenge of finding the right words to answer all of his 'why' questions at home. (He seems to accept more things around him instead of questioning everything.) Thirdly, Wesley Station invites the parents in once a month to see what their child/children have been working on: songs, poems art work, etc. There is never a feeling that you are not allowed to ask questions or stop in, it is truly an open door. Unfortunately, my involvement with Wesley Station is only this school year. my child will be entering Kindergarten next fall. I am sad that my first child did not have this opportunity to be a part of this preschool.
Within the last month and a half of Wesley Station being open, I have observed my child being more calm because of the routine of 5 days a week schedule, being treated like a person not a toddler, the introduction and explanation of God. He enjoys going everyday to see his teachers and friends. My soul is at ease when I drop him off in the mornings. I know he is safe and on good hands, I do not worry. --M. Black
The love of God is shared daily through Wesley Station Preschool when my daughter comes home with new songs and stories about God and Jesus to share with us. She lights up when getting to share what she has learned and projects they have worked on during the day. Most recently the story of Adam and Eve. Our daughter has been diagnosed with a mild form of Autism and connecting with others has been difficult for her. Every day I see her making progress and gaining relationships, and to me that is the love of God at its core. The time and flexibility that the staff at Wesley Station have shown our daughter has been amazing. Our involvement in Wesley Station preschool will remain until she goes to kindergarten. Again, we are so impressed with how much time and effort the teachers are putting into the students. The curriculum being Christian based has been paramount, and one of the main reasons we have chosen WS Preschool. Our daughter will get two full years with Wesley Station, and we are excited about that.
In regards to how our situation has specifically changed because of our daughter’s attendance and Wesley Station preschool is her excitement to learn. It’s been a struggle in the past to get her to focus and soak in what’s happening around her. Also her ability to socialize has improved. She seems to be making some progress in her conversation skills, which also has been a struggle.--J. Copeland, 2019
Having our daughter attend Wesley Station has been such a blessing to our family. Prior to her first year (2019-2020) she was a quiet, shy, introverted little girl with some autism spectrum traits. The teachers and staff, as well as the other students have all supported the blossoming of our daughter. That to us, is the love of God that is happening at Wesley Station, kids finding their voice, sharing Bible stories, and becoming strong believers. We specifically love when our daughter comes home and shares stories from the Bible, corrects us because it’s what Jesus would want, and when she says prayers before bedtime. We have been involved as parents of a student and we love volunteering in the classroom (when allowed due to the pandemic). We appreciate all the special events and attend regularly. Like I previously stated, my daughter’s demeanor/personality/self esteem has changed and I credit that to Wesley Station. We hear from all our family and friends “preschool has been so good for her.” They are seeing the same positive changes that we are. We believe that the smaller classroom size, the devoted staff and teachers, and their flexibility with her therapist coming in- have all been the reasons for her positive development in the past 18 months or so.--J. Copeland, 2020
The love of God is shared with our family through the ministry of Wesley Station Preschool. Our daughter's teachers treat her with love and teach her about God's love through weekly bible stories, that our daughter brings home to share with the rest of our family. This is our daughter's first year in preschool, so she will likely have another year there, and her younger brother will likely also attend Wesley Station Preschool for 2-3 years. In August of this year, our previous preschool announced that they would not be reopening, and our school loving 3-year-old was heartbroken. Luckily, we found Wesley Station, and now she is happily attending her new school, where she has made new friends, and learning lots of new things, including God's love for all of his children.--M. My four-year-old son is enrolled at Wesley Station Pre-school. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the pre-school in our town had to limit the number of students that they enrolled this year, and we did not qualify to send our son. Thankfully, Wesley Station graciously was able to enroll my son for pre-school this year just a few weeks before school started. Wesley Station and its staff members have shared the love of God with my son through teachings at school that he then brings home to his family to share. They also shared this love via the way that they act, which is with grace and compassion in all that they do. The staff at Wesley Station Pre-school has been nothing short of amazing! Their communication is impeccable, they are all so incredibly kind, and they teach and care for our children with love. Wesley Station has helped change our situation for the better in many ways, but one of the most important ways is by allowing my son to enroll in their pre-school, because without them, my son may not have been able to attend a pre-school prior to enrolling in kindergarten. For this, we cannot thank Wesley Station Pre-school and their staff enough, as we know how important this year is for our son.--K. White
Wesley Station Preschool has provided such a wonderful experience for my daughter. Every morning she is so excited to attend! When picking her up she tells me all of the fun things she did and learned that day. It warms my heart as I listen to her retell me bible stories & I know Wesley Station is doing a great job in preparing her for kindergarten!--J. White
Since our daughter has started at Wesley Station Preschool she has grown and developed academically and socially. This is a crucial time for children to develop and due to Covid she was home and we could tell she was not getting those interactions that help children develop and grow. After visiting Wesley Station we felt very comfortable that it was a very safe and clean environment and we would be comfortable sending her. It is great that she now has kids her age that she interacts with and great teachers that help her grow and learn. I find it very important for her to be able to listen and follow directions not just given by her parents, but other adults. She needs to learn to listen and be respectful and I feel that Wesley Station is a perfect place to work on these life skills! Thank you for taking great care of our daughter. These are unprecedented times but the school is making the best of it and adapting well and we are so happy to have the school available for her. Every day she tells us she has fun at school, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. --L. Jaroh
