Curriculum Focus by Class Age
Wesley Station utilizes a state approved curriculum for each classroom. Each grade level offers a step-by-step approach that guides children toward achieving Kindergarten-readiness. The teachers will lead a daily circle time with songs, poems, show-and-tell and an emphasis on the weather. All students will be working toward understanding how the calendar works, reciting the days of the week and learning the months of the year. Each year, students will engage in age-appropriate activities geared toward achieving specific goals, however, our main objective is meeting each child where they are and advancing them to the next level in understanding and knowledge. The basic curriculum goals are outlined below.
